custom Paint Carvings
I accept a limited amount of commissions per month, usually about 2-3. To lock in your delivery date a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due when the artwork is ready to ship or deliver.
Commission Process

1. Choose what size works for you.
It is easiest to start with where you would like the artwork to go and what size will work best. It can help to tape paper on the wall to visualize how much space the artwork will take up.

2. Do you have a design concept?
Some people have a very specific design they would like and others give very little direction like “an artwork with some orange.” I can work with either and then move on to design process.

3. Design proofs
After talking about design I will make sketches. I will email proofs and color palette ideas. Once we have the design and color palette approved I will start layering the panel.

4. Layering Paint & carving
Layering paint takes 4-7 weeks depending on how many color layers we have decided on in the design process. After the panel is layered I will email and let you know and give you a timeline for when the artwork will be ready to ship out.

All paint carvings come with exposed paint dripped edges. A hard wood frame can be made custom for an additional fee.
